The epilepsy center of Thessaloniki belongs to the quadratic specialized centers of the health system. The center is supported by the Neurological, Neurosurgical and Radiological Department of St. Ag. Loukas in Panorama of Thessaloniki. At the epilepsy center, cutting-edge technology is used in the areas of diagnosis, medication and surgical treatment to achieve optimal control of patients' seizures and to improve the quality of life of children and adults suffering from epilepsy.

The epilepsy treatment program includes:
- Modern 24-hour Video-EEG (Video-EEG)
- Specialized neuroimaging techniques, including high resolution structural MRI, functional fMRI, DTI, and combined EEG-fMRI electroencephalography,
- Neuropsychological control for the preoperative assessment of the patients' upper cognitive abilities
- Neurosurgical team with many years of experience and specialized techniques in epilepsy surgery
- Capabilities of conducting chronic and acute intraoperative electrophoresis (ECoG), as well as electric cortical stimulation (CES), for the more detailed detection of the epileptogenic zone and its surrounding areas with sensitive functions
- Neuronavigation surgical design based on both structural and functional imaging data
