Stavrakas Ioannis is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician and has maintained a private practice in Lefkada since 1995. He graduated from the Medical School of Sofia Academy and completed his specialty in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the University Hospital of Ioannina. He worked at the General Hospital of Didymoteicho in General Surgery, as well as at the Surgical Clinic of the General Hospital of Lefkada. In addition, for a number of years he worked at IKA Lefkada. Today in his private practice, he provides health services with special emphasis to every woman and specializes in general ultrasound and colposcopy. More specifically, among others, he performs 4D ultrasound, intravaginal ultrasound, measurement of fetal cervical transparency, PAP test, as well as thin prep test. He also performs obstetric and gynecological surgeries (caesarean section, removal of uterus and fibroids, sinus sutures, removal of cysts and ovarian tumors). To carry out many of them, it cooperates with private clinics in Arta, Agrinio and Athens. He has more than 30 years of experience, in which he has been called upon to deal with difficult events, especially in childbirth, but all of which have been successful. Finally, he is a member of the Panhellenic Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, while at the same time he has attended numerous conferences and seminars in his specialty.
