The genuine local cuisine with traditional dishes from Kos and the breath-taking view of the sea from the beautiful bougainvillea covered roof top are what tavern Oromedon has to offer to the visitor, that is in search of authenticity. The family tavern started off in 1997 and is committed to preserve the genuine gastronomic identity of the island.

We have been following the passion throughout the years always with the traditional flavors of the island in mind. Our big bet, however, has been and is to preserve the traditional way of preparing food by baking in the oven and using the purest ingredients.

With constant struggle, diligence and despite many difficulties we have managed to win our bet with the confidence of the world and to achieve exceptional honors starting from Italy (Europe award in Rome 2005, Greek cuisine 2010 (gold coins), Aegean Cuisine 2011, 2015, 2017), Best Traditional Tavern 2012-2013).
